03/02/12: For Immediate Release: Lucky Bums is proud to announce they will be offering kids hunting apparel in Mossy Oak
Boise, ID-Lucky Bums Subsidiary,LLC.
A license agreement has been establish between Mossy Oak and Lucky Bums of Boise, Idaho.
Lucky Bums Inc., a leading kids outdoor equipment and clothing company, is now a Mossy Oak authorized licensed dealer. “Lucky Bums is thrilled to have a partnership with Mossy Oak and look forward to offering the Mossy Oak pattern throughout our entire hunt line” stated Jeff Streeter, LuckyBums co-founder and CEO.
Since Fall 2009 Lucky Bums has continuously added to its technical hunting apparel line and now boosts the“most comprehensive line of kids hunting performance products on the market today” according to DasonLasater, Product Developer. Lucky Bums has crafted their own series of kids apparel with supreme quality materials that include waterproof-breathable technologies, tricot coated fabric for quiet movement, and moisture wicking advancements to absorb water from the skin and help circulate body heat. The focus is on keeping kids protected from the elements, but at the same time, keep them very comfortable on the inside.
Lucky Bums Mossy Oak hunting accessories and apparel will become available in Fall of 2012.

Lucky Bums announces that they will now be offering the Alpine Series In-Mold helmet!
Innovation and technology, a main focus for Lucky Bums from the beginning, is delivered in the launch of the Lucky Bums Alpine Series In-Mold Helmet line. The line will protect your “melon” in style with intense saturated colors and graffiti-inspired designs. While eye catching in looks the helmet also delivers on protection with in-mold construction fusing a tough polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet’s impact absorbing liner.
Lucky Bums Alpine Series In-Mold Helmet line will be revealed at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market and SIA in January 2012. The all new line will feature sizing for kids and adults and will be available for purchase in the Fall.
“In-mold technology and the graffiti-inspired designs are unique for Lucky Bums. As our company grows and develops, so has our vision for where we would like to see our brand. Lucky Bums is excited to announce that their classic Heirloom Toboggan is now “Made in the United States.”
Lucky Bums is pleased to announce that in Spring 2012 we will be opening our first wood product manufacturing facility in Boise, Idaho. The initial production run will include 96”, 72”, and 48” Heirloom Toboggans. Manufacturing expansion to other products is planned to be phased in throughout 2012 and 2013.
Handcrafted out of solid ash the Heirloom Toboggan is designed to feature an ageless European style in a fully functional sled that is perfect for your family outings in the snow. This show piece toboggan is recommended for all snow terrain activities, as well as cargo transportation to and from the ice fishing hole. When it is not earning its place in the snow, your kids grow up you can cherish the family memories in your home for years to come by using your toboggan as decoration.
“Our solid relationship with retailers and financing has allowed us this exciting opportunity to build a manufacturing base in Boise. I jumped at the chance and am very optimistic about the expansion that now allows us to control quality at every phase of production. With all of the growth taking place at Lucky Bums this year there have been a few additions to the team that we would like to introduce you to!
Ben Parsons has been with Lucky Bums for two years in Sales. His favorite Lucky Bums product is the 3 in1 Parka because, “growing up in South Dakota hunting season would always be freezing, and this is a jacket I wish I had when I was a kid”. When been isn’t traveling for work, he enjoys camping, fishing, hunting, and hanging out with his dog and wife.
Katie Hughes is the Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator. She has interned with Lucky Bums for two years while finishing up her degree at Boise State University. Katie grew up skiing, camping, fly fishing and occasionally bird hunting throughout Idaho. Her favorite part about being a part of the Lucky Bums team, “the fun atmosphere and love we all share for the outdoors.”
Along with our line expansion, we have also added to our product development team with the addition of Dason Lasater who has spent the last 14 years of his career in semiconductor manufacturing, commercial fishing, and commercial construction. He said that his favorite part about working for an outdoor company is that, “It allows me to put my 35 years of outdoor experience into helping young people enjoy the outdoors to their fullest potential.”
Nate Pickens is the new operations coordinator for Lucky Bums. He has joined us all the way from Maine with a background in outdoor television. Nate also has 34 years of skiing experience, 15 years of paddle sport experience and 5 years of MTB experience. He will be assisting Lucky Bums with consumer safety compliances, internet inventory feeds, as well as implementation to financial analysis.
